Universal Tax & Accounting (UTA Tax) brings together over 30 years of combined experience across all areas of accounting and taxation to deliver exceptional service and outcomes to our clients.

We have trained with the Big 4 in Audit, Business Services and Taxation and spent a number of years with leading Mid Tier Firms and commercial organisations gaining technical expertise and commercial experience across a broad range of industries for family businesses through to large listed corporations and global groups.

Our accounting and compliance specialist, Alex (CPA, Masters of Accounting), has over 12 years of experience in Audit practice (China and Australia) followed by senior accounting positions within commercial organisations and financial institutions. She has practical skills and knowledge for setting up accounting systems, running day to day accounting functions and processes. She is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English and can provide valuable assistance for any China / Australia cross border issues.

Our tax and business advisory specialist, Joshua P Quinn (ICAA, B.Com,LLM, CTA), has over 20 years of experience in private practice within Business Services and Corporate Tax teams of Big 4 and leading Mid Tier Firms providing business and taxation advice and compliance services to high net wealth individuals, private family groups, listed corporations and multinationals. He has experience with all aspects of Australian taxation including initial structuring, income tax, capital gains tax, tax provisions, tax consolidations, tax audits and tax compliance.

Our aim is to provide the highest quality service in a timely manner in the most efficient manner possible, we achieve this by keeping our overheads low and having a network of professionals comprised of bookeepers, lawyers, auditors, brokers and financial planners that we can access as required to meet any additional service requirements.
